Innowise Group meets Shi Yuzhu

On November 22, Hi-Tech Park held a meeting of shareholders and owners of the major IT companies from the Asian-Pacific region. Shi Yuzhu - chairman of Giant Interactive,  and Nurali Aliyev - the owner of the Zhanartu investment fund were among honoured guests. During that event Innowise Group had a chance to get Shi Yuzhu acquainted with VOKA - mixed reality system that allows surgeons to see the damaged bone tissues inside the patient. This very system has a great number of advantages in medical practice from increasing safety of the operation by visualizing locations of blood vessels and nerves and reducing surgical risk  to shortening the rehabilitation period by reducing damage to adjacent tissues.

We were stocked to have taken a part in such an event and tell the public about our innovative development that is being developed with the Belarusian Scientific and Practical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.

Innowise Group participated in MEDICA 2017 FAIR in Dusseldorf

Medica 2017 Innowise Group

Medica is known to be the largest international medical show that presents the cutting-edge technology, electromedical equipment, laboratory equipment, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. Medica is the very exhibition that provides the medical device industry the central market for innovative products and various systems that are contributing to the efficiency and quality of patient care all around the world.

In the framework of Medica Innowise Group introduced its innovative MR System for trauma surgeons and medical students. It needs to be said that VOKA.IO is a system that can be used during diagnostics, treatment/surgery planning and during surgeries as well. Implementation and application benefits of using VOKA.IO are numerous. Firstly, it mitigates surgical risks when it comes to medical procedures of high risk. Secondly, due to the reduction of tissue damage it increases the speed of recovery.

To sum up, this system was of interest for medical professionals and med technicians because it was one-of-the-kind at the fair. Needless to say that its efficiency and relevance in practice was unquestionable. We got an opportunity to develop cooperation with international companies and specialists that have taken an interest in VOKA. And we are looking forward to growing our network and having a fruitful cooperation.

The best project of the Hackathon AVRA Minsk Days 2017

Yesterday the Hackathon within the Conference AVRA Minsk Days 2017 was completed. The developers showed more than two dozen projects for Virtual and Augmented reality. Various applications were shown: the reconstruction of the Napoleonic battles, the game "Mafia" with pandas, chemical experiments, the passage of the quest room in the cooperative, and others. Participants were given 30 hours to create prototypes. Some projects were developed on Hackathon from scratch, and others were already existed before the event, so the quality and degree of preparedness varied greatly.
The jury included representatives of the IT industry and investors, as well as specialists in VR and AR technologies. During the presentations of the projects it was noticeable that the experts came not just to distribute the prizes: there were a lot of questions about business models, experience of developers, target markets, plans for the release of applications. It seems like investors seriously considered some of the teams for further financing and promotion. 
The winner of the Hackathon was the project “ARiadna” by Innowise Group Company, a medical project for Microsoft HoloLens glasses. This project will help surgeons reduce risks during operations and spend less time planning them. 
Doctors can see not only the patient’s medical history but also a 3D model of a broken bone and can more accurately plan the operation. This is especially useful in complex injuries (for example, with different types of fractures).

RoboRaid for Microsoft HoloLens: Entertaining Experience of Innowise Group VR/AR/MR Department

There should be time for everything! Work comes first, but…

The specialists of Innowise Group VR/AR/MR department are young and quick as thought! They manage to find time not only for everyday work, but also for testing of something new and investigating the world of the novelties. 

This time they enjoyed  the game by Microsoft, developed for one of our favorite devices – Microsoft HoloLens.

RoboRaid – is a mixed reality first-person shooter where one uses natural movements to target enemies coming from every possible direction. The office of VR/AR/MR department bacame a real battlefield – the enemies broke through the walls, leaving destruction in their wake!

This gaming app for Microsoft HoloLens will also help the developers to start creating their own. Here are some moments:

Pre-scan the room to maximize resources for a high-fidelity, low-latency experience during gameplay.

Use sound in 3D. HoloLens lets users hear holograms from all around them, even from behind.

Microsoft will release virtual reality glasses HoloLens V3

For the first time the Microsoft company released mixed reality glasses HoloLens on the 32-bit Windows Holographic operating system (Windows version 10) a few years ago.

The development has begun in 2012, and the prototype of the device has been presented in January, 2015, on March 16, 2016 the version for developers from the USA and Canada (with the cost $3000) has appeared on sale, and since October 12 the preorder of the device became also available in Great Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

Microsoft continues Microsoft HoloLens enhancement process. The company decided not to release the second version offering minor improvement of the original and more reasonable price. The company switched to creation of the new version of HoloLens - HoloLens V3. They say, the release of the latest model it is planned in 2019.

Today none of the companies develop technology of the mixed reality as quickly as Microsoft. HoloLens glasses are available to developers and gamers, the holographic platform Windows Holographic was also developed.

In the letter the Microsoft company reported to the Thurrott resource: "The mixed reality - is the future in the field of computer systems, and Microsoft HoloLens glasses are a future product for the mixed reality too. Our interest in it doesn't require the road map".

Microsoft HoloLens is the device allowing to combine the real world with virtual. Today the glasses of Microsoft company already became popular not only in gamers. The device is widely used for training, research, and scientific purposes.

Innowise Group develops various kinds of applications with use of this modern device. The specialists of the company develop games, training applications, applications for use in the advertizing sphere, automotive industry, medicine for Microsoft HoloLens.

Innowise Group achieved a certain progress in development for Microsoft HoloLens and continues to receive requests for development of such applications. Virtual reality, augmented reality and the mixed reality have gained interest of users nowardays.

For example, within the frames of one of the projects of the company the application with use of the Vuforia platform for HoloLens was created. 

Characters from mythology of Belarus became the main characters of the application. As a result we see reality objects on the screen of the portable device, and we can also control them, using possibilities of Microsoft HoloLens. The development was maintained on the platform for application of mixed reality creation for smartphones and tablets on iOS and Android operating systems. SDK Vuforia uses the smartphone camera, the webcam or the camera of HoloLens to define markers and to impose 3D objects in the mode of augmented reality.
